Imo that’s the primary vector one could be leaked through.

Well, that and human error. I’d suspect yours is prolly ok.

Probably yeah, but you can never really trust it. I don’t understand how these apps and extensions that protect it work tho.

The extension does the signing for the website. Basically, the website wants the content to the extension to be signed. That way your nsec never leaves the extension.
