One of the biggest breakthroughs I made in my personal development was when I was about 19.
I was brokenhearted trying to understand where I'd gone wrong, analysing & philosophising, writing pages and pages trying to find the solution. Then it hit me.
The vast majority of people in love are not intellectual giants. It's really the most natural thing, and actually most everything that is central to our time on Earth is simple.
Are you hungry? Then hunt and eat. Are you lonely? Then go where there are people, pitch in, say hello. Are you weak? Then do hard things, until you're strong. Do you feel disconnected? Then sit in nature, and wait, and listen.
The gift of being human is a wealth of intellectual capacity, great leaps beyond any animal that's ever roamed Earth. But so often we turn that on ourselves, thinking simple things are to be dissected and categorised, plotted and graphed, when the answers are so obvious that we often needn't think at all.
Bitcoin is like that.
The technology is complex, because we have over complicated our world, but the principle is millennia old. A money that doesn't expand or contract in supply, a measure that stays steady. Really it's obvious, and when I saw it, I immediately recognised it, thanks to learning when I was 19, that most everything that matters in life is simple.
