I think you have to find a meaning in life beyond increased optionality. Optionality is great but you need to have a Northstar that's beyond that.

Altruism doesn't resonate with me.

I want to experience joy & abundance. I want others around me to be experiencing joy & abundance.

I don't feel a great drive to go & save people though. I think people need to save themselves.

When you're ready, the right teacher will appear..

I think I'm understanding your distinction between Alturism and seeing others around you have joy and abundance. You not interested in giving anyone a free ride. But you'll happily share and teach and learn and encourage anyone who has some of their own motivation???

Have I got that right, or am I projecting my own ideas?

Yes I feel like this resonates much more with me.

I think we are each here to expand our own consciousness through our interactions with other humans in this manifested reality. We each have our path, our purpose and it is not for me to judge or take away the experiences that they have chosen.

I feel a drawn to teaching others to the point where I can't help but act on that desire. I don't want to force my perspective on people but I get value seeing their perspective & helping them shift & expand on it. It is through this action that I am able to expand my own understanding & consciousness.

I feel strongly that your beliefs & actions need to be aligned. That if there is divergence within, a kind of internal chaos ensues until either action or belief yields to the other. Since I have been so careful in the construction of my beliefs, I tend to look to aligning action to my beliefs. It's only when the universe throws a curve ball at me, that I need to step back an examine whether it was the action or belief that was out of alignment.
