I think we need decades of change to overcome the mess of last century. And that’s with good intentions prevailing. Hoping for the best!
Yeah it’s messy asf this is what I would do if I could rearrange things in latam:
1. All government reduced with only a few ministries standing such as defense, police, finance, public infrastructure etc
Also government has no biz in owning airlines, or education or healthcare or ubi
2. Death penalty even for small theft. No more humanism, cops and army can shoot to kill on the spot
3. Strong property laws. Adopt US code and no more Latin/French code
4. Strong gun rights. An armed population is a strong population
5. Too many small countries in latam, bring back Viceroyalty territories. Strength in size
6. USD and bitcoin for all
