I did not encounter this in today's Bible reading but it is one of my favorites. It's a concise statement of what God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ did for us:
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
2 Corinthians 5:21 ESV
