it's like a vanilla custard with a lot of eggs and milk and some whipped cream on top and all of that on some puff pastry.. it's just the best!!

It’s not that difficult to make, the only laborious part is the custard, which is tricky to get right (not that bad if you use a Kitchen Aid) … I’ll share some pics when I take a stab at them 🫡

tried to make it for my slovak wife and it didn't work.

In the Netherlands a variety of this known as ”Tompouce" is one of the most Dutch sweets you can get. Improve to eat without getting dirty hands, but oh so good...
