The best part of this debate was when Jack sat back in his chair and let Peter make a fool of himself.
None of this will end well for Peter - as we can hope from all Charlatans of the fiat world. Peter definitely does not want #Bitcoin - he's made a fortune in fiat selling his magic money potion and knows he has nothing 'real' if we are on a Bitcoin standard.
In fairness, Peter does know the problem - he's just profiting on it in fiat instead of solving the problem (Gold never solved the problem - for over 2000 years - he even points this out that people end up cheating the system). So he KNOWS what he is selling is a lie.
Agreed, I honestly like Peter. He clearly understands the problem and articulates it well. Like they say though Bitcoin is on a "need to know" basis and he unfortunately has no need to know.
Sad that he probably has convinced many Bitcoin-curious people to go with gold instead. However, as Gold and other assets continue to be demonetized by Bitcoin, they will all come around eventually.
