Lost Lake PCT Backpacking: Day 2
Here’s a preview of what we’ve got going on today. Finished my PCT section and it was about 8 miles. Nothing to report there. Lost Lake is gorgeous and would be a great family car camping spot. I’m currently up on Lost Lake Butte with an amazing view of Mount Hood. Going to go back down and find a free spot to stealth camp at the lake. There’s a spot up here but no water.

Lost Lake PCT Backpacking: Wrap
Sometimes I start a trip with low expectations, but the Pacific Northwest always delivers! I’m low key in love with this lake. There’s something special about a lake with a volcano towering over it. 🤣 I thought about renting a stand-up paddle board for an hour but I needed a nap instead. I want to try paddle boarding, and canoeing, sometime and this lake seems perfect.

But for sure try the paddling there is probably a wonderful experience.
