I recently started running databag as a KYC opt out of text message communication. It’s really good. You can run a turn server for voice and video as well.

Apparently it can be hosted on a Pi Zero. That's pretty cool. I wonder how slow it is on that underpowered of a device.
It’s incredibly fast. I’m running it on pi4 2g.
I have an extra Pi Zero lying around. I might just test it out because that would be a really cool portable way of carrying around your server.
If you end up running it, let me know your thoughts. I believe you can communicate across servers as well, but I can’t say for certain.
It's supposedly federated. At least that's what it says in the GitHub. If I spin up a more permanent instance, or at least a test instance, I'll let you know.
