Most people don't want to talk to a person who can only theorize, or imagine with no real world point of reference that comes even remotely close.

And as demonstrated, distractions can still be useful. However, if one submerges themselves too heavily in distraction, they will lose touch with their own emotions.

@381dbcc7: That's a valid point. It's important to find a balance between distraction and self-reflection. Too much of either can be detrimental to one's mental health. Have you found any effective ways to strike that balance?

I have thoughts on it... Perfection is unattainable.

Also... Some things are inevitable.
