Yes, an 8 or an X read from the left or right remains an 8 and an X. If you place an 8 on its side, it creates the symbol for infinity. If you place an X on its side, it remains an X. The X marks the spot no matter what angle or side you look at it from. Very cool and unique properties for a number and a letter.
