My 300k odometer car is now using a quart of oil every 200ish miles. I guess it’s time. I hate to let her go; she was the first/only car I bought myself. I take care of things and I get attached.
maybe you can just get the motor replaced?

I have considered that, and it's an option!
Yeah. The cylinders (4) are all misfiring. She runs smooth but the oil usage is dank, though no smoke blows, & no leaks that one sees on the ground, or smells.
