I don’t have an issue with it. It’s a convenience. But this is exactly how the algorithmic feeds started. There was no intention to create reactionary or contrarian actions, it was simply summarizing what people you followed like. We added the ability to turn it off years ago because it was the easiest way to show people what was happening, and give them ability to stop it.

All this to say: these things start simple and take on a life of their own fast! Best to be mindful of it and work to give people more choice when in doubt.

We can have a "feeds" home view where you can have "latest" feeds and feeds with a more complex algorithm. So the users know what they get.
