Everyone in the industry talks about how bad that place was run but IMO when she gets out of prison people will throw tons of money at her again and most pleb scientists would jump at the chance to work for her. Same with Shkreli (I think they’re both banned from working in pharma again but I’m sure there’s a loophole somewhere). A sizable chunk of biomedical science is led by these dumbass personalities because investors don’t really care about the science or know how to evaluate it.
