I like your response. However I’ve noticed a difference since switching from Spotify. Tidal seems even more love slanted when you allow it to recommend music.
Ohh 2 differen platforms w/ 2 different recommendation models that must've 2 different levels of liberty when recommending things. Some platforms give you fine grain option about how wide/narrow the recommendation can throw the net. As an example I personally use Plexamp w/ my own music library and it has some options about how wide it can traverse the tree.
