I haven’t listed anything for sale here either, but it seems like something that works for some folks.

I don’t have a problem selling stuff in person, but I can establish a level of confidence when I’m talking with a customer face-to-face that I’ll get paid up front, not hoping for payment when I deliver the product.

Since this is a “trustless” environment, that gives me pause. Should I trust someone I’ll never meet, never talk with on the phone, and don’t even know their actual name, to pay me in exchange for my work?

As far as selling here goes, the buyer pays first and trusts the seller will fulfill the order

Ive never sold anything online ever, so that is the basis for my comment above.

I’ve always met people in person, and it just seems that esp here that people are more aware of security issues than anyone.

I wouldn’t know how to sort out the scam from the real trustworthy client.
