Talking to my boss today I mentioned my talk at the Bitcoin event. He was really interested, we got talking about some real shit, I explained what I talked about and we debated the value of the state.

We always chat using the Socratic method which I like, so he asked questions like "why couldn't you just vote to change things?" which I answered "because both parties will bring in a CBDC, and even the most well intentioned politician couldn't change a fundamentally corrupt system that is controlled by Davos."

He scheduled an hour next week entirely dedicated to continuing that discussion 👀

I can't stop dropping orange pills man 😂

Voting is maybe the bluntest of all instruments for getting a thing done. Because the signal is basically conjoined in with all the other things that person needs to also make themselves a proponent of in order to gain enough support to be elected.

Yup. Election campaigns are bribing voters with their own money or printed money. And especially with two dominant parties which are pretty much aligned on everything that actually matters and just wrap their authoritarianism in different packages, you have zero power in the so called "democratic" process.

The socratic method is actually really really powerful way of arriving at truth without pushing someone in a particular direction. It's very simple and gentle .
