There needs to be a BOV (blowoff valve) or bypass valve. The wastegate actuator cannot and will not compensate for a fast boost reduction like quickly taking your foot off the go pedal.

Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the waste gate or actuator from what I can tell.
That stock turbo was hitting 35 psi at the top end and The pressure would jump to 40-41 for a split second when I took my foot off the throttle. I think that hose was going to go sooner or later.
I ordered better hoses and clamps to go all around. Those weren't cheap.
No, nor should they be if you want them to hold up to that kind of use.
