I built an 8a.nu replacement during my last vacation in Kalymnos; I haven’t released it yet but hopefully once I do and I’m back in Kalymnos I’ll end up onboarding a ton of climbers
Imagine being able to zap a route after you climb it, or a crag after visiting it. And the funds go to the setters/maintainer.

that would be so sick, i feel like there is a lack (at least in the algarve) of funding for bolting routes, this leads to either underbolted routes, or routes which desperately need rebolting, the crux bolt, where i mostly fall on one of my projects, is so rusty that initial one of my friends decided to not climb the route because of all the rust. Being able to zap and donate to local associations would be awesome (and also getting zapped for sending your long time project would be really cool)
Oh 100% I haven’t thought about getting zapped for sending a project! Massive zaps on the table there!

If you need someone to maintain your routes and drill holes in the rock for you to climb them then maybe you also need someone to moderate your social networks and perhaps determine the issuance schedule of your currency... 😉😁
