Starting a podcast can be discouraging if you think you need state of the art equipment and a pre existing following.

I finally said “screw it” and started one. I have a computer , a box, and a rented room from my local library.

Then I send a lot of emails and DMs to people I would enjoy having a conversation with regardless if there was camera or not.

1 out of 10 respond. And half of those agree to come on. But it’s growing and I’m six episodes deep, about to be 8 very soon.
