Where are you located in the world?
Don't doxx yourself. Check which frequency your region allows open comms on.
For example;
USA is 915 MHz
Europe is 868 MHz
Where ever you will be using the device most, get the correct frequency for your region.
Lower frequencies generally give you more distance (Km) per Watt. I think it generally makes sense to go with 70cm (430ish MHz)
