I want to set up a Start9 server. Server Pure too espensivo (and out of stock anyway). I do have a refurbished Dell running Ubuntu I use as my personal daily driver.

How about:

1 create iso of current Ubuntu setup

2 install proxmox

3 set up Ubuntu as a VM

4 set up start9 as VM

would this work? #asknostr

You could probably make it work, but I run Start 9 on a refurbished Dell OptiPlex I bought for $200.

My Ubuntu runs on a $134.00 optiplex.

I think, for this to be a viable option, you're right. Needs to be on its own box. TY.
