Do you think the lightning network can scale to be a highly used global payment system? It seems like it may not be able to.

If the Bitcoin network can handle around 7 transactions per second, that’s around 220,752,000 transactions per year. If billions of people need to make at least 2 transactions to open and close a channel a year, that’s more transactions than the Bitcoin network can handle. If I’m missing something here please let me know.

How can Bitcoin scale to become a global payment system? Are there any projects out there that have a different approach than lightning? Does the Bitcoin blockchain need to change in order to scale?

Why do we need a centralized solution for a decentralized asset?

BTC doesn’t follow Satoshi vision anymore. It is store of value.

So what should payment systems look like heading in to the future? If Bitcoin is the store of value, what should people transact with?

I know what you reply will be, but I believe in Kaspa.
