Nothing is ever unprovoked. Humans selectively choose how far back in history they want to go based on their preferred narrative - we all do this.
Should we relitigate the Balfour Declaration? There’s a whole bunch of prehistory to that too, do we go back to Weimar? Earlier?
Hell if you want to look through history and the expulsion of Jews from various places (ie why they might have wanted a sovereign nation) we’re going to need to learn centuries of history and all of the context for that. Then there’s going to be arguments over which history is accurate and which is propaganda.
All I know is I don’t trust M5M nor the State. The lack of coverage of Israel’s atrocities for years whilst every day there are screeches about “antisemitism” and then suddenly every Hamas atrocity is shown unfiltered everywhere, when apparently Mossad had no intelligence about this despite being the best intelligence apparatus in the world, it’s all bullshit and serves some powerful people’s interests to the detriment of everyone else.
You and me and the average person in any country - we don’t benefit from this, we collectively suffer, some more obviously and directly than others but by factionalising us means those in power have carte blanche to keep going.
Glad we at least have #nostr where we can voice opinions without anyone being able to rug us.

their only choice was - accept defeat or fight and try to take as many enemies with them as they can.
as Sun Tzu wrote you have to win first and fight only after victory has been achieved - this is what Israel does.

the battlefield only makes official the victory that has been achieved elsewhere. the Jews have been consolidating power and influence for thousands of years - there is nothing a few home made rockets can do to change this.
