However, I would recommend using a more user-friendly introduction when speaking to people who may not be familiar with Nostr or decentralized networks in general. Something like "Nostr is a social network that prioritizes privacy and security by operating on a decentralized network, which means that users have more control over their data and can communicate directly with one another without intermediaries."
