When we look at potential distribution, there’s a small circle of aspiring entrepreneurs (A) who build businesses. A larger group (B) consists of developers, builders, and innovators, and a subset of them becoming entrepreneurs likely due to preference. The more extensive group with untapped potential comprises general contributors (C).

Contributors are passionate, and multi-talented individuals who could potentially be entrepreneurs or developers. However, due to a preference for stable incomes and lacking specific developer skills, they often avoid these roles. Additionally, their financial responsibilities and family obligations make them hesitant to take the high risks and complexities that come with innovators, developers and entrepreneurs.

However, contributors hold a huge opportunity in making something successful. In the Bitcoin space, many become influencers, seek jobs in Bitcoin companies, host podcasts or talks, become educators, event organizers, write books, provide financial services and advisory, and engage in Bitcoin mining. They actively promote Bitcoin, build networks, and act as Bitcoin advocates. As some of their businesses become big, they gently embrace entrepreneurship. But pushing them into entrepreneurship or development from the get-go may not be effective. They prefer Bitcoin-related activities but with different roles.

When we zoom out, beyond these services, there are numerous unexplored job opportunities that can be created within this ‘Contributor’ domain.

There are possibilities of developing gig economy enterprise, or freelance job opportunities, or even a possibility of ‘collective funds with fixed reward systems’ such as YT which can unlock the potential of contributors in a way that is comfortable for them. Based on the concept of ‘network effects’ many secondary and tertiary bitcoin related jobs can also be created. I hope to explore bridge between entrepreneurship and gig because I think that's one way to spread the Bitcoin economy. But I believe there are a lot of brains here who can get creatively wild with it.

Similarly the same opportunity lies with Nostr. There are definitely more developers/builders here, some are entrepreneurs. But most people here are contributors in one way or another and having preferred jobs in these segments would be a sweet spot for many. TBD would likely be heavily related to developers at the moment as well, but once this takes off, this would also benefit a high volume of contributors.

I have spoken to many people who have said they love Bitcoin and want to do something bitcoin related. Over time I understood that contributors do not want to be developers or entrepreneurs but they are very special in their own ways. And given the right opportunities, they will be a huge contributor to Bitcoin, Nostr and TBD
