One thought about weaponry comes to my mind that I'd like to share, and I understand that not everyone may agree with it.

If I were living in a country where I felt the I need to carry a weapon for self-protection, do you know what I would do to ensure my safety?

I would move the f∆ck out of there!

Easier said than done, what with work and family and international immigration policies and taxes and what not. But yeah, as someone who didn’t grow up in a gun-toting country, it’s wild to me the kind of shit that some people consider normal, necessary or even desirable. Reminds me of the analogy of a frog in a pot of slowly-boiling water.
