How does one go back from thread view in amethyst? I feel like an idiot trying to figure it out.

is for me. lots of apps on android don't have a back option. left to right swipe is pretty common for navigation. love how amethyst also lets you open the menu area by swiping left to right starting just shy of the left screen border. but ofc, to each their own
YES. I adapted to gesture nav the moment it was introduced years ago. It only took a week or so to adapt. Nav buttons now feel strange and waste screen space.

Its the standard back gesture on Android. It should go back in all apps.

Getting into the multitasking didn't "feel" good with gestures. That was the only reason I'm went back to buttons. Otherwise I liked it.
