Hay, in your opinion. Is there any reason Bitcoin needs #inscriptions for legitimate Bitcoin financial transactions at this time?
Not all the data that the inscriptions contain are not verified by the nodes.
In short, I can make an invalid ordinal transaction while being a valid bitcoin transaction, so it would be absurd to use them for bitcoin tx.
Right, #inscriptions are a huge security threat. Among other problems. They have to be commented out of the code base ASAP, and recompiled. Then removed. They serve no legitimate Bitcoin core purpose.
They are primarily a front door and a back door to fraud and other criminality. They are an on-ramp to theft from Bitcoin users and owners. Especially from virtuous #fullnode operators. It has to go..😐
