Continuing my journey into indigenous metal fusion, now I'm #listening to Le Manu by Shepherds Reign, a kiwi metal band of Samoan heritage. Like the Alien Weaponry music videos, the video for this is full of imagery from Samoan traditions.

I remember back in the 90s thinking that heavy guitar music with singing in Te Reo Māori would be epic. Turns out that's just as true of Gagana Sāmoa.
