Will zap $10-25 USD for feedback on my app.

Key insights I’m looking for:

- what did you like or dislike?

- where did you feel friction?

- what made you return back to social media?

Thank you for your time & energy!

Thank you for valuing feedback! Your dedication to improving your app is commendable. I would love to help out. Just curious, what inspired you to focus on social media in particular? #feedback #appimprovement

Check your dms!

Thank you for the feedback! Great list of considerations to tackle. I’m receiving an error when I zap your account 😭😭

Can I send you an lightning invoice instead?

Yes =)

I think that projects about learning are always interesting and meritable, and your seems one of these.

But, I struggle to understand the details and navigate the website, it's a little confusing.

I see you put a lot of effort on creating an original UX, but you should be sure to validate its effectiveness, otherwise you risk to push back potential users. To paraphrase, creativity is great, but it's nothing without control.

I suggest you having a more traditional approach for the informative structure and the UI, focusing accessibility and unusability.

Some main suggestions:

- Explain upfront with a short copy what the website aims to achieve, then put a link to the faq; (why the title is ROX? It's quite confusing)

- Use a standard easily navigabile top menu contains all the resources, and a bottom bar on mobile for the main sections;

- Make the design of the pages consistent and clear;

- Be sure that pages are fully responsive (I note some problems with a missing scrolling in desktop);

- Don't exceed with cosmetic animations, they can be distracting and also problematic for some people with disabilities;

- Not everyone like dark themes, the standard should be a light one, also for readibility;

- Have a clean homepage, move the options in a setting page, if they are important promote and link them in the footer of every page;

- Make the initial wizard more clear asking the user to pick a role, keeping in mind that this sort of flow can be blocking because users are concerned about non-reversible choices, so you need to explain what is happening;

Finally, why don't you use Nostr for the account system?! :)

Thank you for the feedback! All the feedback I’m receiving is extremely useful. Probably the best round I’ve had asking folks on different platforms

You're welcome, and thanks for the generous zap!

If you integrate Nostr, I will able to offer you more support regarding product design and UX, within the nostrdesign project sponsored by nostr:npub10pensatlcfwktnvjjw2dtem38n6rvw8g6fv73h84cuacxn4c28eqyfn34f.

Btw, feel free to ping me if you have any question.

I like that fact that this is meant for education.

I like the chat gtp integration. I came back here after the proof of work stuff, because I still don't understand the full functionality.

A good intro screen explaining stuff when landing there would be nice.

I particularly liked the daily motivation thingy. 🫂💋

Thank you a ton! Yes it seems a landing page is in order. This is a pattern of feedback I’m receiving to improve clarity. Appreciate the help!!!!!

Receiving this error when I zap 🤔

Sent it directly to your profile’s address!!

(On mobile web app)

I like the concept, but currently it is quite confusing:

- The very first thing I had to do was go to the learn more link, this should not be the first point of call for any website, the home page should already lay the foundation with the learn more page there for those wishing to go deeper. Consider a slightly more informative welcome screen.

- I have no idea what will happen when I press links, but I should already have some expectation of what will happen when a link is selected. Small descriptions below the most important links would help this.

-The big button on the right which says dealer, I suppose it should say trader?

- The navigation bar at the bottom provides too few insights to this effect also. It appears one of the buttons will take me to information about Sega dreamcast? 😆 I think emoticons as hyperlinks may not be the best solution. Perhaps custom designed images could serve your purpose better? Or just good old fashion plain text with some aesthetically designed buttons.

- Seems as though the Auto-scaling is off, I need to scroll a small step left and right in order to see the whole page, also the bottom navigation bar is off centre

centre.

- When I select links from the bottom navigation bar, they open as layers instead of redirecting to a new page. This means when I select the X to close that layer I should go back to home screen but instead it appears that all the layers are stacked below and I have to X them all. Perhaps one layer at a time would be better (closing the previous layer when opening the new).

- Engineer seems to be the only role which does anything, there are no modules under creator or dealer.

- I see that an LLM is being used "behind the scenes" however I think it should either be more behind the scenes or less behind the scenes. Prompts appear for a moment and dissappear before I can actually read them, they should either remain visible or else not be visible at all if they are unimportant. If LLM is being utilised there should perhaps be a seperate chat function where questions can be asked about the subject being studied.

To summarise, I think you have a great idea here, but the UX needs a lot of work, don't try to reinvent the wheel at the same time as designing a new car.

As an afterthought, could there be some way to log in with our Nostr account and upon completion of modules badges could be gifted to our npubs?

Yes to the npubs! Soon (tm)

And thank you so much for the feedback!!!

Receiving this error when I zap 🤔

Strange, seems I can zap you ok, if you would like to zap the "old fashion way" heres my LN address 😊

yunusatsea@getalby.com

Sent! I forgot I can go into peoples profiles! I’ll do that. There were others with the same error.

Yes, I have had such kind of errors in the past, but I thought it was an Amethyst problem... seems like it is something else. I hope someone more knowledgeable on the Lightning Network could fix this 😆 #asknostr

Please don’t send me sats. I don’t believe I deserve it.

I opened the link and had no idea what I was looking at. So I would probably start there.

The main thing I noticed is that the last thing I explored was the "learn more" section. I think its placement could be better for mobile users who are less likely to reach to the top of the page for further details. Not sure I understand the last question "what made you return back to social media?"

Thank you! I guess it’s because most of my clicks are on TikTok so I wonder what compels people to “keep scrolling”. Basically looking into user retention failure

- there is a little horizontal scroll on mobile.

- bottom bar gets on top of the list when scrolling down

- I don’t understand the “connect wallet” thing, my skill issue but can be more clear.

- does it support lightning ⚡️?
