Am I missing something or is it really extremely hard to create and work with a wallet in bdk against a pruned node? (I'm using RPC rn).

The model seems to be that on creation, a full scan is necessary, but obviously it'd be desirable to be able to have an assumed birth date of a wallet and only scan from there? [1] I can't see how LocalChain could be used to support that.

[1] this is why Thomas Voegtlin was against bip39 back in the day ... no birthday! But that's a side story.
