it's a bit early... 3am by the sun, 5am by the stupid government 2h6m skewed clock set by lisbon, for lisbon

everyone in madeira is used to getting up at or a little before dawn because of this, it's quite peculiar especially in october just before they quit the "summer time"

imagine you a a school kid on this island ... you have to literally be at school at dawn

anyway, i mostly set my clock by chickens and tweeting birds... the chickens first round of wakeup is about 3am by the sun, when the first light starts to hit the top of the sky
