Awesome, nice work! Thanks for sharing Sam.

Please post here at least at the same time as Twitter rather than as a 22-hour delayed afterthought.

Oh and add your Lightning address so we can zap you.

I find it strange to demand that I post here, I thought the whole idea was freedom. I had it on my to do list, along with many other things I didn’t get to yesterday.

I prefer people send their sats to a good cause instead, as I earn an income from the company. My last donation was to #[4] so feel free to send it their way 🙂

I didn’t demand anything. You do however work at one of the major Bitcoin companies and Bitcoin Twitter is here now, that’s the primary audience you posted it to on Twitter 22 hours ago - if Bitcoiners want #Bitcoin content then #nostr is the place they go to first so maybe you should keep up with the social layer.

You’re welcome to donate your Sats received (and we have mechanisms to split Zaps out to others) but zaps serve as a signal to other Users for valuable content. Check out https://zaplife.lol to see how this is being used here now.

That’s not the primary audience though, we’re not producing content primarily for Bitcoiners, but for everyone. The goal is to grow the pond, which is why I spend more time on Twitter. I’m not as active on Nostr until it grows far beyond Bitcoiners. Would I in an ideal world publish everything everywhere at the same time? Sure, but sometimes that’s not going to happen.

Stop talking shit Sam.

River is a Bitcoin company - that’s your audience. You can **hope** this content spreads beyond that but you and everyone inside River knows the primary engagement for this report will be - Bitcoiners.

Bitcoiners are the ones who grow the pond, not one-man-band-Sam on Twitter. Its the social layer, the one which has migrated to #nostr where you don’t post enough.

Rando’s coming across a 72-page #Bitcoin PDF on Twitter isn’t going to do much, it’s maxis who understand this stuff and can disseminate it more broadly with added context that will add the value.

I’d be nicer about it if you weren’t being so obtuse, but you are and rather than just take the feedback onboard you’ve twisted my words and given me 3 excuses so you can have it undiluted now instead.

Your disrespect for anyone who isn’t (active) on Nostr is getting the best of you it seems to me. Lots of people have visited the report through Twitter and it is absolutely reaching many people there who may decide to join here down the line. I never said I’m doing everything by myself over there, so it’s probably best to stop lecturing me on twisting words and we just end the conversation. Have a great rest of your day.

A great sector to target. I was always surprised how many families relied on services that charged higher fees to send money to family out of the country.
