ADD is a euphemism for being easily distracted and therefore highly open to suggestibility. I struggle with it quite a bit and think it makes me more vulnerable to social media / hyper online culture rather than less.
I think whether you view it as a superpower depends on how potent your ability to hyperfocus is. Mine is very potent. I am able to direct and sustain nearly 100% of my attention to anything that interests me for long periods of time.
Do you relate to that at all? Are you able to hyperfocus?

I can’t get into chess. Investing is the ultimate mental game for me though. So I’m happy to hyperfocus on that.
I fully understand, investing is really fascinating, it requires knowledge in a variety of fields from math to law and geopolitics. I guess I am not hyperfocussed, because I do chess and investing (and law).
IMO More like a mind that goes different places often…
