However, consuming oj with a lot of red meat is generally not a good idea. Red meat is high in iron and oj is high in vitamin c, which increases the absorption of iron. This will eventually lead to iron overload, which is very common in men and women after menopause. I would say consume oj with a separate meal.
Consuming milk shortly after a red meat heavy meal is generally a good idea because the milk reduces iron absorption.
