Learning language natively is so romantically superior to using a machine

My GM example of this is I posted… “Dire que tu me manques est un euphémisme”

When I used google translate to see how it translated what I said… Google simply translated it as, “To say I miss you is an understatement”

But what I really said in the French language roughly translates to “To say you are missing from me is an understatement”

Which is a play on English falling short to adequately describe how deeply I am affected by the absence of a person from my life.

Quite subtle, but certainly different
