I'm the type of person who will spend hundreds on high quality groceries, but will gladly sleep in the car at truck stops to save money on hotels lol.

I can pay for a hotel sure, but I can also unfold some nice foam mattresses, lay the seats down and have sheets/blankets/pillows in a (hybrid) car with the windows covered and the AC on all night. Feels like camping, and I will gladly camp all week to save $1000+ on hotels on a road trip vacation.
