I’m telling you primal has a lot of issues lol

Agreed

To be fair, they all do 🤷🏾‍♂️

It could also be a relay thing. The npubs I didn’t see the notes for in Primal all have more than 10 relays. Did you ever try to connect to less than 10. I’m pretty sure we spoke about the relay list bug before

I didn’t get a notification for this reply because it was a reply to node 😂

I don’t have any issues with notifications on damus. It’s only with primal. Idk if that matters.

That’s not the same issue. Your initial note you tagged me directly in it. But you’re also connected to 23 relays. When you have 10+ relays your notes can be rejected by relays.

Other npubs have tagged me directly and I’ve gotten the notifications on primal and damus.

I agree the client is not perfect but there are issues that are outside of it. There is some nuance here

If you tried less than 10 relays and we still saw this issue (with the direct @) we would know for sure the issue is not from the relays. Right now it’s hard to say

I wonder if the enhanced privacy setting causes any of this

Good idea let me check: I have it turned off

I also have it turned off

I was just saying because you replied to your own note on primal and primal only tags the author of the note you reply to.

Right now nostur shows that my notes are being sent to about 12 relays so you’re right not all of them are going through. If I rebroadcast on nostur, it jumps to about 17.

I understand. But that’s the issue of primal removing the @. I was talking about the other issue. The one before.

I wish there was a way to tell for sure if the note was broadcasted. Once we start interacting with it we broadcast it as well, hard to know exactly what’s happening (and if there’s other bugs we don’t even know about)
