That last sentence was ironic for the dogmatic take out and home delivery slaves.

I feel like cooking food myself would be beneficial. Better quality food and cheaper with marginal time lost.

I think a lot of what is happening in modern life is too much abstraction. We delegate. We focus on our 9 to 5s. And yet we are treading on water. We need to take back what is important. Cooking for loved ones. It grounds us. It humbles. Local and seasonal produce also helps to reset that we can have everything at any time. You are starting to be tuned more to the seasons again appreciate the differences. We lost so much over the last 30-40 years.
