Probably better to save them and get the copper value which is more than 1 cent.

Good point! I want to believe there is still copper in the penny but I’ve been let down before.

Also a fair point. Probably isn’t even copper, but it is some combination of metals worth more than 1 cent. That much must be true or they would continue to make them.
