Disagree. They don't synergize; they compete. Caffeine alone is more euphoric without nicotine, and nicotine alone is less euphoric than caffeine alone. Both have side effects. Using both together is suboptimal to me. Usually means I'm already using too much of one of them.

I prefer caffeines euphoria to nicotines pleasure. The biochemical math just makes that choice easier.
