Do you listen to #podcasts? If so, how so?

(Boosts appreciated to obtain a decent sample size.)

I’m curious because having found nostr:npub1wmacfgn0kjvy32jknqz2laqwcavknvvg88wtm3s0ajn0ek3kydvqy75az9 by nostr:npub1p7v0a3mgwgqkhyuuwwrdf7kyt8c0gker3asa4lp0l626p0f3ck5sklqql0 and tested it for 3 months I can honestly say it’s perfect for me. It has all of the features I need and should mean I won’t need to rely on proprietary software for podcasts again.

I use PocketCasts from Automattic, mostly on Android, sometimes on iOS, sometimes in my laptop's browser. Although the software is open source it used not to be, and I'm grandfathered into the "premium" plan because I purchased the app years ago when it was still Shifty Jelly's and didn't have a subscription option. The grandfathering was a thank you to all the customers who supported them by buying the app in the early days.

I only use @fountain_app . And I can send money directly to podcasts I like. Value4Value podcasting. Instead of subscriptions.

The app also has a function to easily make a video or sound clip with transcription, so it’s easy to share short clips to friends.
