So I'm working on updating nostr.how and would love some feedback on taglines. The current site focuses only on the social media aspect of Nostr, but it's a lot more than just that. Which of these resonates with you the most:

– Hyper-flexible publishing for a decentralized web

– A simple, resilient, and decentralized publishing protocol

– An elegant, censorship-resistant publishing protocol for the web

– Something else? I'd love to hear ideas...

A foundational protocol that allows clients to x y z

I’d not know what the current options mean as someone who isn’t in web/coding/decentralization.

🙏🏼 Thanks! That's super helpful.

Out of curiosity, what was the thing that made you take the time to get set up on Nostr? (Just trying to better understand the non-technical POV on the benefits of Nostr)

Gladly 🕊️

Initially because I wanted to understand why jack invested in it.

And why have you stuck around? What did you see that got you excited?

I’m definitely emotionally attached to some of the people now. My mom knows of #[3] through my stories type of thing.

Also work wise, I create environments that are equitable and innovative, and that’s what’s happening here with the #NostrDevs et al.

Cool. Yeah – it's amazing how positive (and addictive) a good community of people is.

An elegant publishing protocol for a decentralized web.

A new publishing protocol that gives users the power.

And I also like your options.

Thanks! 🙏

I like,

– A simple, resilient, and decentralized publishing protocol

or a mix of 2 and 3:

- A simple, censorship-resistant publishing protocol

#2 and #3 are tied for me.

Personally I prefer

A flexible, censorship-resistant messaging protocol that connects people on the earth.

I think a technical stuff like nostr that can bring people together is really cool! (and warm)

Doesn't matter that much.

It would matter for something that's well defined and understood.

But IMO nostr is still evolving, it's hard to capture the essence of a dynamic process in a few words.

Focusing more on the content will indirectly help define it in the minds of its users.

True, but always helpful to get some quick off-the-cuff opinions with what resonates or confuses.
