so is this what Twitter felt like before it got all horrible and aggressive? Just nice people hanging out and working shit out together?

As nostr grows the echo chamber-ness will be up to the discretion of the individual. Very unlike traditional social platforms
very true - and the tools... we can't even imagine what they will do, probably allow us to tailor what and who we want to see... i hope people don't just opt for echo-chamberness
