Nobody NEEDS a whole bitcoin.
A lot of people who reference the book don't realize how few will end up as sovereign individuals. 100m out of 8 billion isn't that many.
The question will be what is rich enough to ensure that the system cannot hold you. Maybe it isn't a number but a situation (no debt or enough to clear your debt). But it seems to me the number has to be high enough to buy off those who hold enforcement power.
