That's one of the most common questions that gets asked.
It matters for many reasons. It matters because we are all indoctrinated into believing something that has absolutely no basis in logic or reality, and they build off of the lie in many ways, including a the origin of life (paid research), finite resources (overpriced, in-efficient energy), space travel (tax funded fiction), virology and pandemics, and much too much to mention without going too far off topic, all of which share common factors such as mandatory funding of these imaginary things through government programs and taxes, against the will of millions of people. It is another mechanism to steal from and control us, and I believe it's a huge one.
The point that I'm making it we have all come to believe a whole bunch of stuff without honestly questioning it, and I think that most of this stuff is there in order to obscure the reality of who we all are and what we are doing here. Most of what we believe through 'education' doesn't make sense, and most people are unable to defend those very beliefs because almost no one takes the time to truly understand them - nor are many interested in even doing so.
We "learn" it, repeat it and then defend it as if it is some unquestionable truth. And those who refuse to let go of it will ridicule anyone who does, because it is too much for the ego to handle.
We are too distracted with paying our bills, propaganda and/or too drugged up on pharmaceuticals to even be aware of what the fuck is going on.
Which is why so many people don't tend to care for these topics. They are much more interested in watching TV and movies, keeping up with celebrity drama and involving themselves in the degenerate culture that all of those things force onto us through subconscious programming.
It matters because most of thing things we spend our time on are frivolous and bring nothing of value to our lives and to the world, and the fact that the Earth is stationary is one of the many pillars that holds up the fake reality which many of us live in. It underpins so many of our beliefs, and when you peak behind that curtain, your reality is turned upside down while you dive into rabbit holes until you begin to find yourself and discover a much more honest and beautiful world underneath all of the lies.
I understand that it's a polarising topic, and I'm not here to be argumentative, but rather with the aim of having some hopefully productive conversations that people can open their minds up to in order to break free from the programming bullshit that is consistently fed to us for our entire lives.
