So it's not that we're just naturally weaker today, no no no no

It's designed that way, not much one can do about it

I think that's a bit misleading and I would give it limited support. There was trauma and depression in the past too. There was just no one who treated it or could diagnose it. Today is different. Just like it was different back then. Every age had its plagues and diseases. And to simply claim that we are too weak, I find it one-dimensional and black and white.
