i strongly believe children should not have access to social media

i also strongly believe that governments should not force users to provide identification to access the internet, they use kids as the excuse but the real reason is control

ultimately parents are responsible for their children

I think it's a bit unrealistic to expect young people not use the internet. It's all about education, supervision and trust depending on their age.
