Not a compromise in my view. The desire to profit is good, and it means you value your work and you want to be sustainable so you can continue and grow it. It makes sense if you believe in something you’re doing that you want it to grow and expand, and profit is necessary to accomplish that. I think the problem arises when people place the desire for profit over everything else.
